Aishwarya kolam is believed to be a holy figure, which is drawn using the rice flour by making small dotted lines and by every seven dots a line is made and each of these lines is joined to make triangles and all of these triangles are connected or linked to each other to form a puzzled like close figure. By connecting all the triangles, a star-like shape is formed in the center of the figure where the salt is placed and then in each triangle that is formed inside that closed figure it is mandatory to place a coin and no triangle should be left vacant.
